Yours Sincerely

Haruomi Hosono,, the pioneering Japanese musician and founding member of Yellow Magic Orchestra, returns with Yours Sincerely—his 23rd studio album and first new music in over seven years. At 78, Hosono explores themes of maternal compassion and unconditional love through tender psych-folk and avant-pop arrangements. The album marks a creative shift, featuring female vocalists across standout tracks like "Note of Mothership" and "To a Wild Rose." His five-decade legacy continues to influence artists from Mac DeMarco to Harry Styles. A remarkable late-career statement from a true innovator.
