Them Crooked Vultures, self-titled album by the supergroup formed in LA in 2009 by Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age (Guitar and lead Vocals), John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin (Bass and Guitar), and Dave Grohl (Nirvana and Foo Fighters) on drums and backing vocals. 

Josh's vocals and guitar take centre stage, driving the powerhouse rhythm section with hard-hitting riffs and solos. Stylistically, there is an element of precision provided by Homme; the band's exploratory and improvisational nature is evident in 'Interlude with Ludes', where the best moments were retained after paring away any indulgences.
