The Wall was Pink Floyd's most ambitious project, jointly created by Roger Waters and David Gilmour and produced by Bob Ezrin. The album's 26 vocal tracks surpass all previous releases and tell the story of a rock star's journey to isolation. It was a commercial success, with the single "Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2" topping charts and spawning a stage show and film. It also marked the final collaboration between Waters and Gilmour as equal partners.
