The Operation Of The Sonne

The Dead C's pivotal 1990s trio—Operation of the Sonne, The White House, and Tusk—marked the band's breakthrough to wider audiences and cemented their status among rock's most important acts. This 2023 reissue, newly remastered by Lasse Marhaug with bonus tracks, captures their raw intensity with enhanced clarity. Side 1 pairs analogue synthesiser with basement field recordings from Willowbank. Side 2, recorded live at the Empire Tavern, retains its unsettling, atmospheric edge. Cut loud and carefully pressed, these vinyl reissues showcase The Dead C's uncompromising sound at its finest.
