The One Giveth, The Count Taketh Away

Bootsy Collins' 1982 funk masterpiece featuring his tightest crew: Catfish Collins on guitar, Bernie Worrell on keys, and the legendary Horny Horns section with Maceo Parker and Fred Wesley. Packed with infectious grooves, clever pop culture references, and Collins' signature lyrical wit. Standout tracks include the party anthem "Take a Lickin' And Keep on Kickin'" and the Prince-influenced instrumental "Funky Funktioneer." Essential funk.
