The Arabic Room is a deeply personal album exploring extended drum techniques and a mix of instruments learned over time. It reflects on Orientalism from both Arab and diaspora perspectives, inspired by sounds and memories from 1980s Tripoli, Lebanon. Named after the childhood sitting room filled with diverse Arabic cultural elements, the album blends jazz, metal, experimental, and Arabic music styles. All instruments are performed by the artist, creating a rich, genre-crossing sound that evokes critical nostalgia without irony or judgment.
