Elations Recordings presents "Terra Ignota", the new full-length album from Melbourne-based fusion ensemble Krakatau. Drawing on jazz, world folk, and post-minimalist influences, the record explores five diverse tracks spanning digi-minimalism, latin fusion, ambient soundscapes, and contemporary jazz. From the atmospheric title track through the percussion-driven "Birds of Passage", the introspective "In Memory", the expansive "Cosmetic Surgery", and the contemplative closer "Trial in Absentia", Terra Ignota captures Krakatau's refined instrumental craft and search for new sonic worlds.
