Taxi Driver - Original Soundtrack Recording

Bernard Herrmann’s final film score pairs a smoky jazz saxophone theme with dark, unsettling orchestral passages. From lounge-style piano and snare drum to bass clarinet, muted trumpet, timpani and harp, the music mirrors Travis Bickle’s growing unease. Saxophone solos on the original score tracks are performed by Ronny Lang; additional tracks arranged and conducted by Dave Blume feature Tom Scott.
