BBE Music's sixth J Jazz Masterclass release. Originally pressed in 1976 on the private Smile label with only 100 copies made, 'Stop Over' is a rare hard bop gem. Trumpeter Hideto Sasaki and pianist Toshiyuki Sekine deliver breathless, energetic jazz reminiscent of the late 50s Blue Note sound.
