Music veteran Orville Peck has always had a vision of crafting a two-part album, Stampede, featuring collaborations with talented artists he admires. The eagerly-awaited first half, Stampede: Vol.1, showcases a mix of iconic, rebellious, and up-and-coming musicians, including Willie Nelson, Midland, Elton John, Allison Russell, Noah Cyrus, Bu Cuaron, and Nathaniel Rateliff. According to Slant Magazine, Volume 1 "perfectly embodies the singer's commitment to the genre while also breaking free from its boundaries."
