The band features a multi-ethnic lineup including Samoans, Tongans, Cook Islanders, Māori, and European members. "Sensitive to a Smile" reached #9 on the New Zealand charts. Written by Karaka, Charlie Tumahai, and American poet Todd Casella, the single was delayed after the success of "Slice of Heaven" with Dave Dobbyn before its eventual release.
