Discover Rodan, the monstrous giant from Toho's 1956 kaiju film, RODAN. Directed by Ishiro Honda and produced by Tomoyuki Tanaka, the movie follows a giant Pteranodon that rises from the depths of a cave, wreaking havoc on Kyushu while the JSDF attempts to stop it. Scoring the film is Akira Ifukube, creating a unique soundtrack that fits in the Godzilla universe while showcasing Rodan's character. A menacing piano and brass phrase introduces the main theme, while jaunty marches represent the JDSF. Overall, another triumph from Ifukube.
