Phoebe Rings

Phoebe Rings is a dream-pop band led by Auckland pianist and songwriter Crystal Choi. Their self-titled debut EP, released October 18, 2024, blends introspective lyrics with dreamy, danceable sounds influenced by Studio Ghibli, Zelda, and Bossa Nova. The six-track EP features lush synths and thoughtful storytelling, highlighted by the single “Daisy.” Recorded remotely during lockdown, the band creates imaginative music that combines nostalgic and modern elements, drawing from K-pop, sci-fi, and indie inspirations.
