This incredible album is centered around the stunning South Pacific Ocean. It features music composed by Japanese artists, Haruomi Hosono, Shigeru Suzuki, and Tatsuro Yamashita. At the time, Hosono was in the process of creating YMO. The three tracks he headed up were produced by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Yukihiro Takahashi, and a few others. It is a delightful blend of early electronic instruments and foreign sounds. Notably, "Cosmic Surfing" appears on Pacific for the first time, before being featured on YMO's debut, Yellow Magic Orchestra.
