Orbit I

Orbit I is the debut album from Flying Nun Records' latest signing, Recitals—a 7-piece Wellington/Auckland ensemble formed as a creative space for wāhine and LGBTQI+ artists. Their sound blends alt-folk with avant-garde elements, showcased through enchanting live performances that earned them indie recognition. The album features diverse tracks from the melodic "Tongue" to the bass-driven "Sweat," offering a rich timbral exploration that reflects each member's unique musical voice.
