In 2004, Goodie Mob was changing, with Cee-Lo Green leaving for a solo career. This album, "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show," was their way to show they could still succeed without their most famous member. Musically, it's more mainstream and polished, leaning into crunk and Southern rap. This album still has solid Southern rap, but lacks the poetic depth and soulful hooks of their earlier work and the absence of Cee-Lo is apparent.
