These three singles are taken from the 1999 release by Rawkus Records, "Soundbombing II." Rawkus has long held considerable weight in the US underground hip-hop scene, producing a long string of gold albums and a platinum release in the 90s. They signed some of the most dominant underground hip-hop artists of the time, including Mos Def, Company Flow and Talib Kweli. These three tracks, performed by Mos Def, Company Flow and Diamond D respectively, form the backbone of the "quintessential Rawkus project" that is Soundbombing II.
