My Funny Valentine: Miles Davis in Concert is a live album from 1965, capturing a performance at New York City's Philharmonic Hall on February 12, 1964. This concert was part of a benefit series held at the newly opened venue, now known as David Geffen Hall, organized in collaboration with the NAACP, the Congress of Racial Equality, and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. While the event aimed to support voter registration efforts in Mississippi and Louisiana, Davis also noted in a Melody Maker interview that one concert honored the memory of John F. Kennedy, who had been assassinated the year before.
