Musical Power - Rub-A-Dub Special

Auckland producer Christoph El Truento unveils "Musical Power," a meticulously crafted record where every element serves a clear purpose—sparse yet intricate, intentional in every gesture. Building on the foundation of Dubs From The Neighbourhood and Peace Maker Dub, this album honours the early dub tradition with warmth from vintage tape, keys, and melodica weaving through each track.

The ten songs form individual sonic journeys that converge into something greater. More than mere accompaniment, the music functions as rongoā—a carefully prepared remedy for the spirit, designed to heal and uplift. The production balances boldness with restraint, equally at home through headphones or commanding a sound system. A profound statement delivered with humble conviction.
