Misty, performed by the Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio, is a renowned album from the  Japanese piano trio under the TBM label. It features impressive jazz qualities like lyricism and a powerful swing sensation. With Yoshihiko Kannari's exceptional production and Takeshi "Tee" Fujii's recording expertise, Blow Up, Midnight Sugar, and Misty have remained unrivaled for over four decades.

The album was recorded in Aoi Studio in Tokyo on August 7, 1974, during the trio's tour with the Micky Curtis Band. Yamamoto's international experience served as the inspiration for Misty, resulting in a natural and exceptionally musical performance, recognized by Swing Journal with the 'Best Engineering Award' and 'Jazz Disk Award' in 1974.
