Dick Diver's third album showcases impressive growth, blending guitars with keyboards and horns for a richer sound. The expanded arrangement opens new songwriting possibilities, from guitar-driven tracks to stripped-back acoustic moments. With all four members contributing vocals, standout tracks include Al Montfort's "Beat Me Up (Talk to a Counselor)" and Steph Hughes' pedal steel-tinged ballad "Leftovers." Produced by Mikey Young, the album delivers witty, hook-laden indie pop that feels both instantly catchy and deeply satisfying—a worthy follow-up that channels the spirit of the Go-Betweens.
