Liberal Animation

NOFX's landmark debut that launched a punk rock legacy. Liberal Animation arrived in 1988 via Wassail Records, later reissued through Epitaph in 1991. The cleverly titled album—a spoonerism of "animal liberation"—delivers raw energy across standout tracks like "Shut Up Already," which cleverly samples Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog." The project gained additional cult status through DIY music videos for "Shut Up Already" and "Mr. Jones," cementing NOFX's place in '80s punk history.
