Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr., former members of the Fifth Dimension, achieved success with their debut album, produced by Don Davis. The hit single "You Don't Have to Be a Star (To Be in My Show)" reached number one on Billboard's R&B and pop charts in 1976. Other tracks on the album include the peppy "Your Love" and the serene title track. The duo also performed some of the songs on their CBS summer variety series.
