This album, along with the previous two, is a benchmark in Japanese jazz and recording engineering, thanks to master recordist Yoshihiko Kannari's expertise and the band's impressive performances at AOI Studios. Kannari's renowned recordings are known for their immediacy and dynamic expressiveness, earning him the Swing Journal's top engineering award in 1976.
