Vasconcelos Sentimento is a self-taught Brazilian composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Rio de Janeiro. His debut album Furto blends lo-fi breaks, cosmic ambient jazz, and chromatic funk into a distinctive sound. Working from his bedroom studio with minimal formal training, Sentimento creates music by intensively studying individual artists before recording spontaneously—never spending more than a day on a single track. Released on Far Out Recordings, the album draws inspiration from decades of music history while establishing a uniquely recognizable sonic identity.
