Fragments is Bonobo's most emotionally intense and masterful album, featuring Jamila Woods, Joji, Kadhja Bonet, Jordan Rakei, O’Flynn and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. Born out of fragments of ideas and experimentation, it boasts 12 sonic affirmations and hard-hitting grooves. Ballads capture the world in flux and offer hope. After coaxing out ideas via modular synthesis, Lara Somogyi's harp, Fender Rhodes and more, the album was recorded and mixed over two years, shaped by escapes into nature amid shutdowns and wildfires.
