First Comes First

The Paddingtons' debut album may seem like it's trying to make a joke about premature ejaculation, but it actually draws inspiration from the London-based band that does pub-rawk better. However, the band's take on punk is heavily influenced by late-'90s MTV, evident in their recent single "Sorry" which features a slurred vocal and distorted sound. This song even has a swaying bridge, similar to what you would hear in a typical pop-punk anthem. Other tracks like "Worse for Wear" and "Some Old Girl" also have a similar energy, reminiscent of the early days of punk.
