Evidence

Spike Fuck's long-awaited debut album, a bold statement of presence and survival. Evidence blends new wave, glam, soul and doo-wop influences—think Pere Ubu and New York Dolls—with confessional lyricism that balances dark humour and raw vulnerability. Sonic juxtapositions create moments of comic sincerity: scuzzy, soulful production paired with morbid wit. Vocal performances shift between blasé, vulnerable and manic, oscillating between joy and despair. A record designed to be felt, not rationalised. It is what it is.
