Eventual Reality

Born in a remote log cabin, The James L’Estraunge Orchestra's debut album, "Eventual Reality", melds jazz and electronic music with heart and soul. Produced by musician Ricky Reid, 2014 saw him retreat from the city and unleash musical inspiration. Musicians from his former life visited the cabin for jam and recording sessions, leaving behind musical gems he lovingly pieced together.

Nostalgia in the album's creation makes the band spectral. Reid was a lynchpin of the Edinburgh scene for over two decades before escaping. From cinematic expanses to intimate places, the album is an audible journal of a musician finding tranquility.
