Miles Davis' return to Chicago with "The Man With The Horn" was guided by expert direction from keyboardist Robert Irving III and the trumpet player's nephew Vince Wilburn. Al Foster and Darryl Jones brought their musical talents to the forefront, while John Scofield added a touch of funky jazz with his solos. The album also features a collaboration with Branford Marsalis from the 1983 Montreal Festival. Overall, Decoy showcases a balance between funk and jazz, highlighted by Miles' commanding presence.
