Cliché, the sixth album by Taeko Ohnuki, debuted in 1982 and was recorded across Paris and Tokyo. The Paris sessions featured arrangements by Jean Musy, known for his work with Francis Lai, while  Ryuichi Sakamoto  handled the Tokyo arrangements. Supported by acclaimed musicians such as Haruomi Hosono, and Kenji Omura, tracks like "Kuro No Clair," "Shikisai Toshi," and "Peter Rabbit To Watashi" have become definitive pieces of her early career repertoire.
