Tāmaki Makaurau-based musician and prolific songwriter Paul Cathro, known for his work with bands like Ha The Unclear and Alizarin Lizard, presents his latest solo album, Catapult. This collection features 11 vibrant indie pop tracks marked by honest lyrics and energetic, guitar-driven power pop. Originally from Dunedin, Paul has a deep musical background, having co-founded Ha The Unclear alongside his brother Michael Cathro. Accompanied on this album by violinist Charmain Keay (Auckland Philharmonia), bassist Joshua Worthington-Church (Princess Chelsea), and drummer Jamie Hannah (Spawts), Catapult showcases a dynamic blend of personal storytelling and spirited musicianship.
