Black Sands marks a clear evolution in Bonobo's sound, blending future-jazz with more sophisticated and complex rhythms. The album features tracks that combine elegant strings with experimental hip-hop beats, dubstep influences, funky Afro-Latin grooves and swing-inflected breakbeats.
