The Bill Evans Trio’s 1973 Tokyo concert, his first for Fantasy, features bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Marty Morell. This live album blends lesser-known songs, standards, and just one Evans original, "T.T.T.T. (Twelve Tone Tune Two)." Highlights include a waltzing "Up with the Lark," a powerful "My Romance," and a nuanced "Gloria’s Step." The set closes with a bossa nova-flavored "On Green Dolphin Street." While not among Evans’s top five live recordings, this release remains an important part of his legacy.
