Axxa/Abraxas was the solo project of art student Ben Asbury. Released with help from New York friends Jarvis Taveniere and Aaron Neveu, this debut album has influences from the band Woods. While some songs are breezy acoustic pop, others have dark and psychedelic elements with heavy guitar leads. The constant contrasts add to the album's unique sound.
