Teener is a noise rock band from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 2016 without emulating any style or artist. Their sound blends New Wave, Noise Rock, and Hardcore, showcased in their lead song, "The Ladder," with perforated, ascending drum and guitar and vocal elements. On the B-side, "Flavor," frenzied drums and chainsaw guitars give way to a post-punky, drony haze before a hyperkinetic finale.
