An Improvisation Through Time and Space

Mindy Meng Wang is a Chinese/Australian composer and guzheng player with a diverse background. After studying western musicology in the UK, she moved to Australia and has since been at the forefront of a movement of Chinese musicians redefining and revitalising their musical tradition. Through her work, she seeks to bridge the gap between traditional and contemporary practices and elevate the voices of young female Chinese composers globally. Additionally, Mindy aims to foster a stronger musical bond between Australia and China.
