Telephone Jim Jesus compiled songs for a self-released project, adding tracks and guests over two years. After being heard by the anticon family, it was released on the label as A Point Too Far to Astronaut..., a psychedelic collage of samples, synths, drums, vocals, guitar, and piano, with surreal poetry. The record's mood ranges from hallucinatory to sad, paranoid and angry, to sarcastic and humorous.
