Picking up where 1962-1966 left off, the double-album compilation 1967-1970, commonly called The Blue Album, covers the Beatles' later records, from Sgt. Pepper's through Let It Be.

The Blue Album, like The Red Album, was released following the 1973 bootlegs Alpha Omega, Vols. 1-2: The Story of the Beatles. It features hits and important album tracks from the psychedelic, rock & roll, and late recording eras of the Beatles, including singles like "Lady Madonna," "Hey Jude," and "Revolution," as well as orphaned tracks such as "Let It Be" and "Get Back." The set serves as a summary of the group's final 36 months, but does not include all of their great songs. However, it does capture the essence of their later recordings.
