Operating out of a tiny space near Tokyo's train station, OZ was a DIY center for a year. Les Rallizes Dénudés, from Kyoto, was a marquee act and closed out OZ Last Days. The resulting 2LP, OZ DAYS LIVE, featured the goup, but only some of their recordings. Now, 50 years later, The OZ Tapes provide more from the Rallizes, uncovering unhinged experiments to tender moments. Demystifying their history, it further hints at where Mizutani would lead the band.
