Description
Released in 1973, Voices In Harmony is a collection of contemporary pop titles that feature voices, brass, and rhythm. The works by Keith Mansfield and John Cameron are described as a KPM classic, with a string-laced and harmony-drenched sound. From the bright and lilting harmonies of "Liquid Sunshine" to the warm flutes of "Loving Touch" and "Gentle Persuasion", this album offers soulful music for dreamy and idyllic moods. The smooth and bossa-bassline driven "Husky Birdsong" and the gorgeous wordless groove of "Half Forgotten Daydreams" are particular highlights. As with all ten re-issues, the audio for Voices In Harmony was remastered for vinyl from the original analog tapes by Be With regular Simon Francis. The sleeves were also carefully reproduced by Richard Robinson, the current custodian of KPM's brand identity.
