The result is quite pleasing indeed. Opening track Steffanie de Praia is one of the staples, and actually it\u0026#39;s so inspiring that Naoya-san would re-record it later with his accompanying band Wesing under the title Evening Tide. Sung half in english by Alexander Easley and half in japanese by Minoru Ishiyama, there\u0026#39;s an intention on how the songs are approached to give them a pop-feel with mixed results but never ceasing to be interesting. Both Mina and Wakare are wonderful guitar-based cleverly arranged brazilian-style songs with nicely adapted japanese lyrics (and they are original material too!) There\u0026#39;s some slow tempo piano-driven salsa vibes in If You Wanna Go Away (the least brazilian track) and typical samba percussion in Garota de Bahia (how couldn\u0026#39;t? Lol). Great synth work and true fusion style in The Magician and an all-band talent showcase in the jammy The Sun Also Rises. This is the dawning of Naoya\u0026#39;s solo path!!
