Following in the footsteps of legendary DJs, Carter meticulous selected and sequenced tracks that shaped the sound of the city's clubs and radio. The set blends oddball disco classics with innovative house tracks, from Savage Progress' "Heart Begins to Beat" to Frankie Knuckles and Jamie Principle's "Baby Wants to Ride." Each track is given space to breathe, with Carter's thoughtful mixing prioritizing the music itself. Extensive liner notes with track-by-track commentary add depth and context to every selection, making this more than just a compilation—it's a masterclass in dance music history.

Tracklist

Side A

A1 - Ready To Rock

A2 - Get A Little

Side B

B1 - Yolanda (12" Mix)

B2 - Heart Begins To Beat

Side C

C1 - Sing Sing Sing (Mega Be-Bop)

C2 - How To Do That

Side D

D1 - Relax (Sex Mix)

Side E

E1 - I Love It

E2 - The MBO Theme

Side F

F1 - Can You Move?

F2 - Inch By Inch

Side G

G1 - Me No Pop I

G2 - Sweet Lucy

Side H

H1 - Don't Make Me Fall In Love (Timmy Regisford Mix)

H2 - Move

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0397/2773/files/MockUpcopy-Recovered-Recovered-Recovered_cfe86467-0a50-4e0a-a298-e48361823609.jpg?v=1792116748
https://www.ohjeanrecords.com/products/choice-a-collection-of-classics-1
Oh!
