This unreleased collection, "An Afternoon With Victor Dimisich," rivals the historical importance of The Spies' seminal 1981 recordings. Captured in intimate demo form during early 1981, these stripped-back tracks preserve tender Cogle and Stapleton compositions that might otherwise have been lost to the Pin Group's more overwhelming arrangements. Born from a spare afternoon, a crate of beer, and four musicians' shared affection for dark ballads, these songs represent a fleeting moment of New Zealand music history. Roy Montgomery and Bruce Russell's liner notes provide essential context for this vital document of the era.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0397/2773/files/MockUpcopy-Recovered-Recovered-Recovered_89368e4f-0572-4d0e-b2a3-9ac7c73586e2.jpg?v=1790989924
https://www.ohjeanrecords.com/products/an-afternoon-with-victor-dimisich
Oh!
