Minimal rehearsal, maximum creativity—this is avant-garde jazz at its most liberated. Four tracks, each exploring a different musical mode. From the Coltrane-inspired 'So Long Chef' to the meditative 'Ahimsa' and the West African rhythms of 'Dansoman Last Stop', every piece showcases Walters' trumpet and the individual brilliance of Rebecca Nash (piano), Jeff Guntren (tenor sax), Ed Cawthorne (soprano sax), and Nim Sadot (bass). Spiritual, free-form, and deeply rooted in Walters' global experiences—this album proves why he's one of the UK's most respected jazz musicians.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0397/2773/files/Nick_Walters_-_Active_Imagination_Vinyl_LP.jpg?v=1791073260
awakening-1
Awakening

Paradox Ensemble returns with 'Awakening', a thirteen-piece album blending spiritual jazz, Eastern influences, and West African rhythms.
